About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Installation and Maintenance Technician to join their essential services team in Belfast, Northern Ireland . You will be responsible for ensuring that equipment is installed correctly, functions optimally, and receives timely preventative maintenance. Key Responsibilities

• Perform professional installations of new equipment, adhering to all technical specifications and safety guidelines.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance checks to identify and address potential issues before they arise.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment, using diagnostic tools and technical expertise to restore functionality.
• Ensure all installations and maintenance activities are thoroughly documented in the company's service management system.
• Provide clear and concise technical support to clients on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, and ensure all tools and company assets are properly managed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a technical installation or maintenance role, preferably within the relevant industry.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with the ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to diagnosing faults.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and be willing to travel within the Belfast area as required.
