About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous and reliable Installation Technician to join their growing team in Birmingham . In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the expert installation of various systems and equipment for our commercial and industrial clients throughout the West Midlands. You will ensure that all installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards, contributing directly to client satisfaction and the operational success of their businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and set up equipment and systems according to project plans and manufacturer guidelines.
• Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of installed systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Perform necessary adjustments and modifications to meet specific site requirements.
• Provide basic operational training to clients on the newly installed equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly handled and stored.
• Report on installation progress, challenges, and completion status to the project manager.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar installation or technical role is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools relevant to installation work.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to work in various site conditions.
• Must possess a valid UK driving license and be willing to travel across the Birmingham region.
