Installation Technician - Newcastle

Our client is seeking a dedicated Installation Technician to join their growing team in Newcastle upon Tyne . This role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining various types of equipment at client sites, with a hybrid approach allowing for some remote administrative tasks. You will be a key player in ensuring that our client's solutions are implemented seamlessly and effectively, contributing directly to customer success. Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission new equipment at client locations according to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing installations to ensure optimal functionality.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions on-site or through remote support.
• Manage inventory of parts and equipment, ensuring accurate stock levels for service calls.
• Collaborate with the sales and support teams to ensure smooth project delivery and client satisfaction.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations during site visits and installations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Installation Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of installation procedures and best practices for relevant equipment.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing technical faults.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
• Good communication and customer service skills for client interaction.
• Valid UK driver's license and willingness to travel to various sites within the region.
