Installation Technician

About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Installation Technician to join their dynamic team in Coventry, West Midlands . This role involves the setup and configuration of various systems and equipment at client locations, ensuring seamless integration and functionality. While primarily field-based, occasional work from a central hub or remote support may be required, offering a hybrid work model. You will be instrumental in delivering high-quality installations and providing initial technical support, contributing to the company's reputation for reliable service delivery across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure hardware and software components according to specifications.
• Perform system testing and validation to ensure proper operation post-installation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation-related issues promptly and efficiently.
• Provide basic technical guidance and support to end-users during and after installation.
• Maintain detailed installation logs and report on progress and any encountered challenges.
• Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to ensure project timelines are met.

Requirements

• Experience in technical installation, configuration, or IT support roles.
• Familiarity with various hardware and software systems.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
• Willingness to travel within the Coventry area and surrounding regions.
