Installation Technician

About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Installation Technician to join their expanding team based in Coventry, West Midlands . This role focuses on the professional installation of specialized systems and equipment for a varied client base. You will be responsible for ensuring that all installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, contributing significantly to the company's reputation for excellence. Key Responsibilities

• Carry out installations of equipment and systems at customer premises, adhering to project plans and technical specifications.
• Test and commission newly installed systems, ensuring full functionality and compliance with standards.
• Conduct basic maintenance and repairs on installed systems as required.
• Provide initial user training and support to clients on the correct operation of installed equipment.
• Work collaboratively with the wider installation and project management teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Manage inventory of parts and tools used during installations, reporting any discrepancies.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an installation, assembly, or maintenance role, preferably within the Installation & Maintenance sector.
• Demonstrable ability to work with tools and equipment used in technical installations.
• Understanding of basic electrical and mechanical principles.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, often with flexible working patterns.
• A valid UK driving license is required for travel throughout the Coventry region and beyond.
