About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Installation Technician to join their dedicated team, servicing the Newcastle upon Tyne area. This role is integral to ensuring the seamless deployment of our innovative products and systems at customer premises. You will be responsible for the physical installation and initial setup, ensuring everything functions perfectly from the start. Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installations of equipment and systems according to detailed project plans and technical specifications.
• Conduct thorough testing and configuration to ensure all installed systems are fully operational and meet client requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any installation-related issues that may arise, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
• Provide basic user training and handover to clients upon completion of installation.
• Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including completion reports and any encountered challenges.
• Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to coordinate installation schedules and resources effectively.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an installation, maintenance, or hands-on technical role is essential.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools and a good understanding of basic electrical and mechanical principles.
• Ability to interpret installation guides, diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently.
• A valid UK driving licence is required, with flexibility for travel within the Newcastle upon Tyne region.
