Instructional Designer for Blended Learning

About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Designer for Blended Learning to join their innovative educational team in Bradford . Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality instructional materials for blended learning environments, including online modules, interactive exercises, multimedia content, and face-to-face activities.
• Collaborate with faculty members to identify learning objectives, analyze learner needs, and design effective assessment strategies for blended courses.
• Utilize learning management systems (LMS) and various educational technologies to create and deliver engaging blended learning experiences.
• Ensure that all instructional designs are aligned with pedagogical best practices, accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG), and institutional quality guidelines.
• Provide guidance and support to faculty on the effective implementation of blended learning strategies and technologies.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of blended learning courses through feedback, data analysis, and recommend improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Education, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Proven experience in designing and developing blended learning courses and materials for higher education or professional training.
• Proficiency with instructional design software, e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Captivate), and Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle, Canvas).
• Strong understanding of adult learning theories, pedagogical principles, and the unique challenges and opportunities of blended learning environments.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
• Familiarity with multimedia development and accessibility standards.
