Senior Electrical Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer
Hybrid – 3 days per week in office
CAN BE BASED FROM ANY OFFICES - MANCHESTER, CHESTER, LEEDS, GUILDFORD, LONDON, NOTTINGHAM, NEWCASTLE
The Opportunity
My client have an exciting opportunity for a Senior EC&I Engineer to join their growing team.
In this role, you will develop a range of design deliverables including Control Philosophy / FDS, SLDs, CBDs, schedules, loop drawings and cable calculations. You’ll also engage directly with clients, fostering strong working relationships and supporting ongoing business development.
What You Will Bring
- Degree qualified in an Electrical Engineering discipline
- Chartered or working towards Chartership with a relevant professional body (IET)
- Proven design management skills with a focus on client delivery
- Experience mentoring and supervising junior engineers and graduates
- Competent user of Microsoft Office, plus working knowledge of Trimble ProDesign and AutoCAD
- Experience working on multi‑discipline design projects within the Water sector, with additional experience in Industrial, Chemical, Power or Nuclear sectors considered highly advantageous.
- At least 5 years’ experience in an engineering design environment.
- Experience inHV design, ATEX or SIL design is advantageous but not essential.
