About the Role

Our client is looking for a diligent and empathetic Insurance Claims Handler to join their fully remote team. This position involves managing a portfolio of insurance claims from initial notification through to settlement. You will be the primary point of contact for policyholders, providing clear communication, support, and efficient processing of their claims. This role is ideal for individuals who possess strong organizational skills and a commitment to customer service, working entirely from home, contributing to the smooth operation of claims processing for customers across the UK , with a focus on digital communication and remote support.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and log new insurance claims accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with policyholders, claimants, and third parties throughout the claims process.
• Assess claim validity based on policy terms and conditions, gathering necessary documentation.
• Process claims payments and manage claim files in accordance with company procedures.
• Identify potential fraudulent claims and escalate them to the appropriate team.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards, ensuring policyholder satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role, ideally within the insurance sector.
• Good understanding of insurance principles and claims handling procedures is beneficial.
