About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Insurance Operations Manager to lead their operational functions in Reading . This hybrid role requires overseeing the day-to-day efficiency and effectiveness of critical business processes, including policy administration, customer service, and operational support. You will focus on optimizing workflows, implementing best practices, and ensuring seamless service delivery to clients and internal stakeholders. Your leadership will be instrumental in enhancing operational performance and supporting the company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize key insurance operational processes, including underwriting support, policy issuance, and customer service.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of operational staff, fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics, reporting on performance and identifying areas for enhancement.

Requirements

• Substantial experience in operations management , preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and improving operational processes.
• Strong leadership, team management, and motivational skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with insurance systems and technology is a plus.
