About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Insurance Operations Manager to lead their team in Reading . This hybrid role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the insurance department, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and excellent service delivery. You will be responsible for managing teams, optimizing processes, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance operational performance. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the insurance operations team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Oversee and optimize key operational processes, including policy administration, claims handling, and customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies across all operations.
- Monitor operational performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Identify and implement technological solutions to streamline operations.
- Manage relationships with third-party service providers.
Requirements
- Significant experience in insurance operations management or a related leadership role.
- Strong understanding of insurance products, processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Excellent process management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with operational improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
- Strong IT literacy and experience with insurance management systems.
