This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of the company, involving the meticulous management of insurance policies from issuance through to renewal and endorsements. You will ensure accuracy in policy documentation, handle administrative queries efficiently, and support the underwriting and sales teams. Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain insurance policies, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date in the policy management system.
- Process policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and new business applications efficiently.
- Respond to administrative queries from clients, brokers, and internal departments regarding policy details.
- Prepare and issue policy documents, certificates, and other relevant correspondence.
- Assist underwriters with gathering necessary information for risk assessment and policy pricing.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements in all administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within the insurance industry or a related financial services environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document management.
- Proficiency in using policy administration systems and standard office software.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A foundational understanding of insurance principles would be advantageous.
