About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Insurance Policy Administrator to join their busy team in Manchester . In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient administration of insurance policies, from issuance to renewals and amendments. You will ensure all policy documentation is correctly processed and maintained, providing essential support to both policyholders and the sales team. This position is ideal for an individual with strong administrative skills and a foundational understanding of the insurance industry, seeking to grow within a reputable financial services organisation. You will contribute to a seamless customer experience by managing policy details with precision and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Process new insurance policy applications, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain policy records and databases, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
- Prepare and issue policy documents, certificates, and other relevant correspondence to clients and brokers.
- Respond to policy-related queries from internal teams and external customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Liaise with underwriters and sales teams to resolve policy administration issues and discrepancies.
- Support the team with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document handling.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with policy administration systems is a plus.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn about insurance products and procedures.
