About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and organized Insurance Policy Administrator to join their operational team based in Manchester . This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and accurate administration of insurance policies, handling everything from inception to renewal. You will be the first point of contact for many policyholder queries and will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our client's policy database and customer records. This is an office-based position, fostering a collaborative team dynamic and direct access to colleagues for support and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Process new insurance policy applications, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
- Verify policy details, coverage, and premium calculations against application information.
- Respond to policyholder inquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing clear and concise information.
- Maintain and update policyholder records in the company's database, ensuring data integrity.
- Assist the sales and claims teams with policy-related documentation and information requests.
- Prepare and issue policy documents, certificates, and other relevant correspondence.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within the insurance industry.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are paramount.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a structured office environment.
