About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and diligent Insurance Policy Administrator to join their expanding operations team, supporting clients across the Sunderland region and beyond. This role is fundamental to the smooth running of the business, involving the accurate processing of new policies, renewals, and amendments. You will ensure that all policy documentation is correctly issued and managed, providing essential support to both the sales and claims departments. Key Responsibilities
- Process new insurance policies, renewals, and endorsements accurately and efficiently.
- Issue policy documents, certificates, and other relevant correspondence to clients and brokers.
- Maintain and update policy records in the company's database, ensuring data integrity.
- Respond to policy-related queries from clients, brokers, and internal staff in a timely manner.
- Assist with the preparation of reports and summaries related to policy administration.
- Liaise with underwriters and other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to policies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within the insurance industry .
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote setting .
