About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative and strategic Insurance Product Developer to join their headquarters in Belfast . This role is crucial for designing, developing, and launching new insurance products and enhancing existing ones to meet evolving market demands and customer needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including actuarial, marketing, sales, and legal, to ensure product viability and success. The ideal candidate will possess a keen understanding of the insurance market and a passion for creating competitive, customer-centric insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle for new insurance products , from ideation to launch.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation.
• Collaborate with actuarial teams to define pricing, reserving, and profitability models.
• Work with marketing and sales teams to develop product positioning, go-to-market strategies, and sales training materials.
• Ensure all new products comply with relevant regulatory requirements and legal frameworks.
• Monitor product performance post-launch, making recommendations for improvements and adjustments.

Requirements

• Significant experience in product development , preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of various insurance lines (e.g., property, casualty, life) and market dynamics.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and project management skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the insurance sector .
• A degree in Business, Finance, Actuarial Science, or a related field is preferred.
