Our client is seeking an innovative and strategic Insurance Product Manager to lead the development and management of their insurance product portfolio in Bristol . This role involves driving product strategy, overseeing the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, and ensuring products meet market needs and profitability targets. You will collaborate cross-functionally with underwriting, marketing, sales, and technology teams to bring new and enhanced insurance solutions to market. Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for assigned insurance product lines.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback assessments to identify product opportunities.
- Develop business cases, define product requirements, and manage the product development process through to launch.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and product positioning.
- Monitor product performance, profitability, and market adoption, making data-driven adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products.
- Strong understanding of the insurance landscape, including market trends and customer needs.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and project management skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
