About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative and strategic Insurance Product Manager to lead product development and management initiatives in Leeds, West Yorkshire . This role is responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our client's insurance offerings, ensuring they meet market demands and profitability targets. You will work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, underwriting, and claims teams to bring successful products to market and manage their lifecycle effectively. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the insurance landscape, customer needs, and market trends, driving product innovation and growth within a competitive industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute product strategies, roadmaps, and business cases for new and existing insurance products.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer segmentation to identify opportunities and gaps.
• Collaborate with underwriting and actuarial teams to design competitive and profitable products.
• Work with marketing and sales to develop go-to-market strategies, launch plans, and training materials.
• Monitor product performance, profitability, and customer feedback, making data-driven adjustments.
• Ensure product compliance with all relevant regulations and legal requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product management within the insurance industry .
• Proven track record of successfully launching and managing insurance products.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and the insurance value chain.
• Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and project management skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
