Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify and assess various insurance risks, including market, credit, operational, and underwriting risks.
- Develop and implement risk models and methodologies to measure potential financial impacts and capital requirements.
- Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and provide regular reports on the risk profile to senior management.
- Collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, and finance teams to embed risk management best practices.
- Design and recommend risk mitigation strategies, controls, and contingency plans.
- Stay informed about emerging risks and regulatory developments impacting the insurance industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience in a risk analysis or similar role, ideally within the insurance or financial services sector.
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Python) and data analysis tools.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex findings clearly.
- Understanding of insurance principles, products, and regulatory frameworks.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage projects effectively in a remote work environment.
