Our client is seeking a quantitative and insightful Insurance Risk Analyst to join their team in Bradford . Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for new and existing insurance products and business initiatives.
- Develop and maintain risk models, using statistical software and data analysis techniques.
- Analyze financial data, market trends, and operational metrics to identify potential risk exposures.
- Prepare detailed risk reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management and relevant committees.
- Collaborate with various departments to implement risk mitigation strategies and monitor their effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Proven experience in risk analysis , data modelling, or a similar analytical role within the financial services or insurance industry .
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Python) and data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent report-writing and presentation abilities.
