About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Insurance Risk Analyst to join their progressive team in Edinburgh . In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating various risks faced by the company within its insurance operations. You will contribute to the development and implementation of risk management strategies, ensuring compliance and safeguarding the company's financial health. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across different business functions and product lines.
- Develop and implement risk management frameworks and policies.
- Monitor and analyze key risk indicators (KRIs) and report on risk exposures.
- Assist in the development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure adherence to risk management protocols.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices in risk management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in risk analysis or management, ideally within the insurance sector.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Proficiency in risk modeling and assessment tools.
- Excellent report-writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., PRM, FRM) are a strong asset.
