About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate insurance proposals and assess risks associated with potential policyholders.

• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform underwriting strategies.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Insurance Underwriter , preferably in commercial lines.
• Solid understanding of risk assessment principles and insurance market dynamics.
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency in underwriting software and standard office applications.
• Relevant insurance qualifications (e.g., Diploma in Insurance) are preferred.
