Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate insurance applications to assess risk exposure and determine eligibility for coverage.

- Set appropriate premium rates and policy terms based on risk assessment and company guidelines.
- Collaborate with agents and brokers to gather necessary information and explain underwriting decisions.

- Maintain accurate records of underwriting decisions and policy details.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as an Insurance Underwriter or in a related risk assessment role.
- Strong understanding of underwriting principles, insurance products, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in underwriting software and standard office applications.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
