About the Role
Our client, a dynamic and innovative firm based in Norwich , is seeking an accomplished Intellectual Property Lawyer to join their specialist team. This role involves advising a diverse range of clients on the protection, exploitation, and enforcement of their intellectual property rights, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and designs. You will manage IP portfolios, draft and negotiate licensing agreements, and represent clients in IP disputes. The position offers a hybrid working model, enabling effective collaboration and client service while maintaining work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on all aspects of intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, copyright, and trade secrets.
- Draft, review, and negotiate IP-related agreements such as licenses, assignments, and NDAs.
- Manage IP portfolios and conduct IP due diligence for corporate transactions.
- Represent clients in IP litigation and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
- Provide strategic advice on IP protection and commercialization strategies.
- Stay updated on IP law developments and industry trends.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years of experience in intellectual property law.
- Strong understanding of UK and international IP law and practice.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating IP agreements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage client relationships and deliver commercially focused advice.
