About the Role

Our client is seeking an astute and experienced Intellectual Property Lawyer to join their innovative team, offering a fully remote working arrangement. This role is pivotal in advising clients on the protection, exploitation, and enforcement of their intellectual property rights, including patents, trademarks, copyright, and designs. You will work with a diverse range of clients, from technology start-ups to established brands, managing IP portfolios and providing strategic counsel on IP-related matters. Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on the registration, protection, and enforcement of patents, trademarks, and other IP rights.
• Draft and negotiate IP-related agreements, such as licensing, assignment, and R&D agreements.
• Manage IP disputes, including infringement claims and opposition proceedings.
• Conduct IP due diligence for transactions, mergers, and acquisitions.
• Provide strategic advice on IP portfolio management and commercialisation strategies.
• Stay current with developments in IP law and related technological fields.

Requirements

• A qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE specialising in Intellectual Property law .
• Proven experience in handling a variety of IP matters, including contentious and non-contentious work.
• Strong understanding of patent, trademark, copyright, and design law in the UK and internationally.
• Excellent analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage complex IP portfolios and advise clients strategically in a remote setting.
• Experience in technology transfer and IP licensing is highly advantageous.
