About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled Intellectual Property Solicitor to join their innovative legal team, offering a fully remote working experience. This role is ideal for a lawyer passionate about protecting and exploiting intellectual property assets for a diverse range of clients, from startups to established corporations. You will advise on all aspects of IP law, including patents, trademarks, copyright, and confidential information, as well as drafting and negotiating IP-related agreements. Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on the acquisition, protection, and enforcement of intellectual property rights (patents, trademarks, copyright, designs).
- Draft, negotiate, and review a variety of IP agreements, including licensing, collaboration, and R&D agreements.
- Conduct IP due diligence for corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
- Manage trademark and patent portfolio filing and prosecution.
- Advise on issues related to data protection, confidential information, and domain names.
- Assist with IP dispute resolution, including cease and desist letters and litigation support.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 4 years' experience in Intellectual Property law.
- Strong understanding of patent, trademark, copyright, and design law.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating IP-focused commercial agreements.
- Excellent client management and communication skills, suitable for remote interaction.
- Ability to provide practical, commercial advice tailored to client needs.
