Interim Technical Accountant

Job Title: Interim Technical Accountant

Contract Length: 6 Months +

Hybrid: X2 days in office per week.

Days: 4-5 days per week.

Start Date: ASAP

Rate: DOE

IR35: Possibility for Outside IR35

Main Duties

• Lead annual accounts, statement preparation and statutory reporting.

• Provide technical accounting advice on IFRS and CIPFA.

• Support audit process, resolving external auditor queries.

• Review complex accounting treatments, reserves and capital financing.

• Improve financial controls, policies and compliance governance.

Successful candidates MUST have specific local authority experience leading on technical closedown and MUST also be happy working in office X2 days per week.
