Inventory Control Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organised and analytical Inventory Control Specialist to join their remote team, supporting their retail operations across various locations including Bradford . This role is critical for maintaining accurate inventory records, minimising stock discrepancies, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods. You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring inventory control procedures, utilising data to identify trends and recommend improvements. This is a fully remote position, ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, proficient with inventory management systems, and can work effectively from a home office environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory levels across all sales channels and distribution points.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories, reconciling discrepancies.
• Analyse inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimise stock levels.
• Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures to prevent loss and obsolescence.
• Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and logistics teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
• Generate regular reports on inventory status, stock turnover, and shrinkage.

Requirements

• Proven experience in inventory management, stock control, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and a systematic approach to tasks.
