Inventory Control Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and vigilant Inventory Control Specialist to join their warehouse operations in Bradford . You will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of inventory records, ensuring that stock levels are precise and that discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly. This role is critical to optimizing warehouse efficiency, minimizing losses, and ensuring that the right products are available at the right time for our client's customers, working closely with warehouse teams on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies between the system and physical stock.
• Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices.
• Monitor stock levels and report on inventory status, including aging stock and potential obsolescence.
• Process incoming and outgoing inventory movements accurately in the WMS.
• Collaborate with purchasing and sales teams to ensure alignment on inventory needs and availability.

Requirements

• Previous experience in inventory control , warehouse management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and techniques.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software (WMS) and data entry.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
