About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join their dynamic logistics team in Manchester . This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our client's extensive inventory. You will be responsible for implementing and managing inventory control procedures, conducting regular audits, and ensuring that stock levels are optimized to meet demand while minimizing carrying costs. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain robust inventory control procedures across all warehouse operations.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to ensure accuracy of stock records.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system data.
• Monitor stock levels and report on inventory turnover, obsolescence, and shrinkage.
• Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of stock.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements to stock management processes.

Requirements

• Previous experience in inventory control, stock management, or a similar role within a warehouse environment.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and standard office applications.
