About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join their team in Manchester . This role is essential for maintaining accurate inventory levels, minimizing discrepancies, and ensuring the efficient management of stock within the warehouse. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust inventory control procedures, conducting regular audits, and working closely with the operations team to ensure product availability and reduce waste. Your accuracy and diligence are key to the smooth functioning of our client's supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using the company's Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Monitor stock levels and report on potential shortages or overstock situations.
• Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with the receiving and shipping departments to ensure accurate data entry and timely stock adjustments.

Requirements

• Previous experience in inventory control , warehousing, or a related field.
• Proficiency in using WMS software and strong data entry skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a high level of accuracy.
• Good understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
