Our client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join their busy logistics hub in Sunderland . You will be responsible for implementing and managing inventory control procedures, conducting regular audits, and resolving discrepancies. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage inventory levels across the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
• Perform regular cycle counts and physical stocktakes, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
• Investigate root causes of inventory variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure efficient stock rotation and storage.
• Generate reports on inventory status, stock movements, and variances for management review.

Requirements

• Proven experience in inventory control, stocktaking, or a related warehousing role.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
