About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to join their operations in Cardiff . This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our client's extensive inventory. You will be responsible for overseeing stock levels, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing measures to minimize loss and obsolescence. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of inventory management best practices to support efficient warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Implement and adhere to all inventory control policies and procedures.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with the warehouse and procurement teams to ensure optimal stock levels.

Requirements

• Previous experience in inventory control, stock management, or a similar role.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
