About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Controller to join their logistics team in Brighton . This hybrid role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of stock levels across the warehouse. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing inventory management procedures, conducting regular audits, and resolving discrepancies to ensure optimal stock control. This position offers a blend of on-site operational involvement and remote data analysis, ideal for a detail-oriented professional.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records using the company's inventory management system .
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify stock levels.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Monitor stock levels, identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory, and recommend actions.
- Collaborate with warehouse and purchasing teams to ensure smooth stock flow and prevent stockouts.
Requirements
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related logistics role.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Excel for data analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
