Investment Banker Associate

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Investment Banker Associate to join their prestigious team in Coventry . This role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in a wide range of financial advisory services, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory. You will work closely with senior bankers, clients, and various stakeholders to structure and execute complex financial transactions. The successful candidate will possess a strong analytical aptitude, excellent financial modeling skills, and a deep understanding of capital markets, playing a critical role in delivering exceptional client service and driving transaction success.

Key Responsibilities

• Support senior bankers in the origination and execution of M&A transactions, debt and equity offerings.
• Develop detailed financial models, valuation analyses (DCF, precedent transactions, comparable companies), and pro forma projections.
• Prepare client presentation materials, including pitch books, CIMs (Confidential Information Memoranda), and board materials.
• Conduct industry research, market analysis, and due diligence for client engagements.
• Manage deal processes, coordinate with legal counsel, accountants, and other advisors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other market participants.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or private equity.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and PowerPoint/Excel.
• Solid understanding of financial markets, transaction processes, and corporate finance principles.
• Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure in a demanding environment.
