About the Role

Our client is looking for a driven and ambitious Investment Banking Associate to join their prestigious team in Newcastle upon Tyne . This role is central to executing complex financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and advisory services for a diverse portfolio of corporate clients. You will play a key role in financial modeling, deal structuring, and client relationship management, contributing to the firm's success and growth in the North East region. The ideal candidate possesses strong quantitative skills and a passion for financial markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction-specific analyses.
• Assist in the preparation of client presentations, pitch books, and marketing materials.
• Conduct due diligence, market research, and industry analysis for potential transactions.
• Support senior bankers in client negotiations and deal execution processes.
• Manage junior analysts and ensure the accuracy and timely delivery of work products.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other financial stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field.
• Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet).
• Strong understanding of capital markets, M&A, and corporate finance principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
