About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Investment Banking Associate to join their prestigious team based in Birmingham . This role offers an exceptional opportunity to work on complex financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and capital markets. You will play a critical role in deal execution, financial modeling, client interaction, and developing strategic advice for a diverse portfolio of clients. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the origination and execution of M&A, debt, and equity transactions.
• Develop detailed financial models, including valuation analyses, LBO models, and DCF analyses.
• Prepare comprehensive client presentations, pitch books, and marketing materials.
• Conduct industry research, company analysis, and due diligence for live deals.
• Manage deal processes, coordinate with various stakeholders, and ensure timely completion of transactions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry contacts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related business field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or private equity.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, CapIQ).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, both independently and collaboratively.
