About the Role

Our client is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Investment Banking Associate to join their established team in Birmingham . This role is integral to executing a wide range of M&A transactions, capital raising activities, and strategic advisory services for corporate clients. You will be responsible for financial modeling, valuation analysis, and preparing client presentations, working directly with senior bankers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop intricate financial models, including DCF, LBO, and M&A analysis, to support client transactions.
• Conduct comprehensive company and industry research to inform valuation and strategic recommendations.
• Prepare marketing materials, pitch books, and other client-facing documents.
• Assist in the due diligence process for mergers, acquisitions, and financing transactions.
• Manage deal execution, coordinating with clients, legal counsel, and other advisors.
• Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or private equity.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and Excel.
• Strong understanding of capital markets and transaction processes.
• Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and written communication skills.
