About the Role

Our client is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Investment Banking Associate to join their expanding team in Coventry . This role involves significant involvement in deal execution, financial modeling, and client advisory services across a range of industries. You will work closely with senior bankers to support mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory mandates. The position offers a dynamic work environment with a blend of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility, providing exposure to complex financial transactions and the opportunity to develop deep expertise within the financial services sector in the West Midlands region.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop complex financial models for valuation, mergers, acquisitions, and leveraged buyouts.
• Prepare marketing materials, including pitch books, confidential information memorandums, and management presentations.
• Conduct thorough industry research and financial analysis to support transaction origination and execution.
• Manage transaction processes, coordinate with clients, legal counsel, and other advisors.
• Assist in due diligence activities, data room management, and client meetings.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related business field.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, or a related field.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills are essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet) is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
