About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Investment Banking Associate to join their prestigious team in Coventry . This role is crucial in supporting deal execution, financial analysis, and client advisory services within the investment banking division. You will be instrumental in developing complex financial models, conducting market research, and preparing client-ready presentations for mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising transactions. The ideal candidate possesses a strong quantitative aptitude and a drive to succeed in a high-stakes financial environment, contributing to the firm's continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the origination and execution of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate finance, and capital markets transactions.
• Develop intricate financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCF), leveraged buyout (LBO), and accretion/dilution analyses.
• Conduct comprehensive industry and company-specific research to support deal sourcing and client strategy.
• Prepare pitch books, CIMs (Confidential Information Memorandums), and other client marketing materials.
• Coordinate with clients, legal counsel, and other advisors throughout the transaction process.
• Perform valuation analyses using various methodologies and market comparables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or private equity.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in financial databases such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv Eikon, or S&P Capital IQ.
• Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to work under pressure.
