About the Role

Our client is seeking a driven and analytical Investment Banking Associate to join their busy team in Coventry . You will work closely with senior bankers, contributing significantly to deal execution, client management, and business development efforts. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the origination and execution of M&A transactions, including financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence.
• Prepare comprehensive client presentations, pitch books, and marketing materials.
• Conduct in-depth industry research and company analysis to identify investment opportunities and risks.
• Support senior bankers in client meetings, negotiations, and transaction processes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, advisors, and other stakeholders.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or private equity.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and quantitative analysis skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with strong presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
