About the Role

Our client seeks a motivated and ambitious Investment Banking Associate to join their thriving practice in Coventry . This role is integral to the deal execution process, supporting senior bankers in mergers, acquisitions, and capital markets transactions. You will gain exposure to a wide range of industries and complex financial situations, contributing directly to client advisory services. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop a deep understanding of corporate finance and transaction structuring within a fast-paced, client-focused environment, working from both the office and remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial models, valuation analyses, and client presentations.
• Conduct due diligence, market research, and industry analysis for potential transactions.
• Support senior bankers in managing client relationships and executing deal processes.
• Coordinate with legal counsel, auditors, and other advisors throughout transaction lifecycles.
• Develop marketing materials, including pitch books and confidential information memorandums.
• Contribute to the identification and development of new business opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or private equity.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with expertise in financial modeling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
