About the Role

Our client is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Investment Banking Associate to join their esteemed team in Coventry . This role offers a unique opportunity to work on complex financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and strategic advisory services for a diverse client base. You will be instrumental in financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and client presentation development, playing a key role in the success of critical financial operations within the West Midlands. Key Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis, valuation, and modeling for M&A and capital markets transactions.
• Conduct comprehensive industry research and due diligence on potential clients and deals.
• Prepare client-facing materials, including pitch books, presentations, and confidential information memorandums.
• Assist in managing deal processes, coordinating with legal counsel, accountants, and other advisors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry contacts.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team development within the Coventry finance hub .

Requirements

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, MBA, or a related quantitative field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or private equity.
• Expertise in financial modeling, DCF valuation , LBO analysis, and accounting principles.
• Proficiency with financial databases such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv Eikon, or CapIQ.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
