About the Role

Our client is looking for a driven and ambitious Investment Banking Associate to join their prestigious team based in Newcastle upon Tyne . This role is central to executing complex financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and advisory services for a diverse range of corporate clients. You will gain exposure to high-profile deals and work closely with senior bankers, contributing significantly to client relationships and deal execution. Key Responsibilities

• Support deal teams in the origination and execution of M&A, equity, and debt financings.
• Develop detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and investment memorandums.
• Conduct due diligence, market research, and industry analysis for client engagements.
• Prepare presentations and client materials for pitches and transaction meetings.
• Manage junior analysts and contribute to team development and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or private equity.
• Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and presentation software, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong understanding of capital markets and transaction processes within the finance industry .
