IT Project Manager - Digital Transformation

About the Role

Our client is searching for a highly organized and results-oriented IT Project Manager to spearhead exciting digital transformation initiatives in Coventry . This role is crucial for driving the implementation of new technologies and processes that will enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. You will be responsible for managing the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept and planning through to execution, monitoring, and closure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong IT background coupled with exceptional project leadership capabilities, ready to guide teams through significant technological advancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects , including software development, system integrations, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with senior stakeholders.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, ensuring adherence to project plans and company standards.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, proactively addressing challenges to ensure smooth project progression.
• Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and manage expectations.
• Oversee the deployment and adoption of new IT solutions, providing support and training as needed for Coventry -based teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager , managing diverse technology projects.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with cloud technologies, cybersecurity initiatives, or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
• Relevant IT or Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2, CSM).
