IT Project Manager

About the Role

Our client requires a dedicated IT Project Manager to oversee technology-focused projects within their operations based in Coventry . This role is crucial for implementing new systems, upgrading existing infrastructure, and ensuring seamless integration of IT solutions across the organization. You will work closely with IT departments, vendors, and business units to deliver projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing technical projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize IT projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
• Acquire and implement the necessary resources and personnel for project success.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop full-scale project plans, communication plans, and associated documentation.
• Manage the IT project team, providing guidance and fostering a productive work environment.
• Identify and resolve issues and risks that could impact project timelines or outcomes.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as an IT Project Manager or in a similar role.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and network management.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project or similar project management software.
• Based locally or willing to relocate to Coventry .
