IT Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a results-oriented IT Project Manager to oversee technology-driven projects in Leeds . This role is critical in managing the implementation of new IT systems, software, and infrastructure upgrades. You will work closely with IT departments, business units, and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered successfully, meeting technical specifications and business requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of IT projects , from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budget management.
• Oversee the implementation of hardware, software, and network infrastructure projects.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Coordinate with vendors and manage external relationships to ensure service delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT project management , with a focus on infrastructure and software implementations.
• Strong understanding of IT project methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile).
• Experience with IT infrastructure , network technologies, and system integrations.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, required for an office-based role.
