About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a skilled IT Project Manager to join their technology division in Leeds . This role will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects, including software development, infrastructure upgrades, and system implementations. You will work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to ensure projects meet strategic objectives, technical requirements, and budget constraints. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, defining objectives, tasks, resources, and milestones.
- Manage IT project risks, issues, and changes effectively, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate and collaborate with software developers, system administrators, network engineers, and other technical personnel.
- Communicate project status, progress, and challenges clearly to all stakeholders, including senior management.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance, security policies, and relevant regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager , managing diverse technology projects.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and systems integration.
- Familiarity with various project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL) are highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
