IT Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dynamic IT Project Manager to spearhead technology-focused projects for their expanding operations in Coventry . This role requires a hands-on approach to managing the full project lifecycle, from initial planning and execution through to deployment and closure, with a focus on delivering innovative IT solutions. You will work closely with IT departments, software developers, and business analysts to ensure technology projects align with overarching business strategies and deliver tangible value. This is a key position for someone passionate about technology and its strategic implementation within a business context.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of various IT projects , including software development, infrastructure upgrades, and system integrations.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, ensuring all constraints are adhered to.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams, end-users, and business stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating when necessary to senior management.
• Ensure the quality and successful deployment of IT solutions through rigorous testing and validation processes.
• Provide regular project status reports and performance metrics to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager , managing software and infrastructure projects.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and common IT security practices.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies .
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA Project+, ITIL) are a plus.
