About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Project Manager to join their growing team in Leeds . This role is key to overseeing the successful delivery of IT projects, from initial planning and execution through to completion. You will work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to ensure that IT initiatives align with strategic goals and deliver tangible business value. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and budget control.
- Liaise with technical teams, business units, and external vendors to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans and track progress using appropriate tools and methodologies.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing impact.
- Communicate project status, updates, and potential challenges to stakeholders at all levels.
- Ensure that all IT projects adhere to company policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing IT projects, preferably within the Leeds area or remotely serving its needs.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and various project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with project management software such as Microsoft Project or Jira.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and in-office responsibilities.
- A relevant degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
